Mark Stimson will be hoping that Sam Blackman is fit and ready to go for this match at HDP. New signing Rio Davidson-Phipps is available to play in this fixture.
OPPONENTS SEASON SO FAR:
Canvey are sat in 13th place with 38 points from 27 games. The Seagulls won on opening day against Haringey at home 3-2. Their next three games were defeats however before they broke their bad start to the season by beating local rivals Concord 1-3. A loss to Whitehawk then kicked off a three-game winning streak when they beat us 4-1 at the Moviestarr Stadium. A win away at Billericay and a win at Carshalton shot them up the table. A heavy defeat away to Wingate & Finchley 6-2 was followed by a 2-1 win over Cray Wanderers and that was before a 3-0 loss to Enfield Town. Showing inconsistencies compared to their playoff season last year, they got a draw against Cheshunt with two big wins against high flying Hastings and Chatham. However, they didn’t carry on their good form as they lost their next four games and carried on the winless streak for another game by drawing away at Bognor Regis. No matter the form, they still managed to do the double over their local rivals by winning 1-0 at home. A loss to struggling Haringey followed which came before two wins against Kingstonian and Folkestone. Two heavy defeats came next, 5-1 away to Chatham and 0-3 at home to Enfield. Their last result was a 3-0 home win against Billericay.
In the away table, our visitors are 17th with only four wins on the road all season.
