PLAYER NEWS / Triple Signing Ahead Of New Season
The Gate welcome goalkeeper Pat Ohman after impressing in our friendlies away at Faversham and at home to Hythe Town. The shot-stopper's former clubs include Carshalton Athletic, Chelmsford City and Braintree.
Also joining Jay Saunders' squad ahead of Saturday’s trip is defender Joe Anderson. Anderson began his career at Fulham and has since enjoyed spells at Billericay, Hornchurch, Maidstone, Chelmsford and most recently Welling United.
The third player to join is striker Vance Bola who joins the club after scoring for the Blues in our final pre-season win over Hythe Town last Saturday. Bola’s former clubs include Royston Town, Enfield, Wealdstone and most recently Sittingbourne.
Finally, the Blues can confirm that defender Tommy Cooney has been released and has left Hartsdown Park. The club would like to place on record its thanks to Tommy and wish him well for his future career.
