James rejoined The ‘Gate from Sheppey in the summer but after featuring 18 times and scoring two goals in Blue, he departs for a new venture.
Player/manager, Ben Greenhalgh, commented: “It’s disappointing to see Bessey go but it’s been a disrupted season for him, he’s had other commitments for three of the games and has struggled at times with commuting from his new job, however I understand that he wants to go and get 90 minutes week in week out at this stage of his career. We’re very happy with what we’ve got and it’s a group of players who all want to be part of our rebuild so we won’t be actively looking for a replacement, but if the right player that fits the mould and has that desire to play for Margate FC, then we may add one more over the next few weeks.”
Everyone at the club wishes Bessey all the best in the future and thank him for his efforts at Hartsdown Park.
