Ben Allen Becomes A Blue
By Josh Cole
We are delighted to announce that we have captured the signature of forward, Ben Allen!
The 23-year-old joined Dartford at the start of this season after being a fan favourite at Haringey Borough where he had two successful spells in North London, establishing himself as a key player at step three level.
He was a product of Gillingham’s U18’s side and he went on to play for Bromley in 2020-21. Other notable clubs he has played for include Hungerford, Concord and Aveley.
The forward always performed well against Margate, scoring for Dartford when they played us in pre-season, and he will be sure to create many opportunities for us in the final third, whilst putting some away himself!
Player/manager, Ben Greenhalgh, said: “Ben will be a brilliant addition for us, and he fits the mould of everything we’re looking for. His quality has always been of interest to us at Margate and we’re really looking forward to seeing him add more quality in the final third and I’m sure will be on the scoresheet plenty of times. So far Ben is our third addition throughout the season and I’m sure he’ll have the same positive impact as Max and Eman have already had. We look forward to getting him involved tomorrow!”
Ben can play in tomorrow’s match vs Eastbourne Town!
Welcome to Margate, Ben!
