National Youth Alliance League Acceptance
Margate Football Club is delighted to reveal on Friday afternoon, we received news that our Margate FC Post 16 Academy team has been accepted into the National Youth Alliance League.
This is excellent news for the academy which is set to launch in partnership with Herne Bay High at Hartsdown Park in September.
The news further cements the Academy’s status as one of the best-all round options for young footballers looking to balance their academic progress with training and playing full-time.
Working with a trusted school, Margate academy players will have their academic studies delivered within a school covering both A Level and BTEC options.
This quality offer is now matched by the confirmation that the team will play at a high standard within the National Youth Alliance League.
It’s news warmly welcomed by Club Chairman, Terrance Painter who said:
“I’m delighted that our new Academy team has been welcomed into the National Youth Alliance and can’t wait for the new season of academy football to start.”
“With the new Margate Football club academy starting this September I believe we will begin to see local talented footballers make their way into the First Team and continue the good work building our player pathway.”
“Being able to work in partnership Herne Bay High means we’ll be able to offer young, ambitious players a truly excellent experience at Hartsdown and I look forward to seeing the progress continue.”
If you are interested in attending or learning more about the Academy please email: footballacademy@hernebayhigh.orgOr alternatively call the school on 01227 361221.
