PLAYER NEWS / Sess Ruled Out For Season
It’s another bitter blow for Manager Steve Watt.
“We’ve been without Sess for a good few months now. We thought we had reached a more positive conclusion earlier on in the season but unfortunately he will require surgery and won’t feature for us again this campaign.”
“Sess is a huge loss for us. He’s a great personality to have in and around the dressing room and when we were starting the season, looking at our back five line-up including Pidge, we looked very strong.”
Watt also revealed that young centre-back Ben Swift is still nursing a hamstring injury which forced the Margate manager into tinkering with his starting eleven at half-time on Saturday at Metropolitan Police.
“Swifty is still not 100% and we need to look at our options. We will try our best to bring in reinforcements as our squad is looking sparse and we’ve still got a lot of games to play this season.”
