Haysman Suffers ACL Injury
After a series of scans and treatment, the club can confirm that promising young midfielder Kane Haysman has damaged his anterior cruciate ligament and will be out for the rest of the season.
The update comes as a bitter disappointment to Manager, Steve Watt.
"We're obviously distraught for Kane, he was settling in really nicely and doing a great job within the squad. We wanted to wait until a full conclusion had been reached, as it's never nice to receive news of a long term injury."
"Kane is young, fit and with attitude and application, I have no doubt he will come back even stronger."
Kane's is the third ACL injury Watt and his management team have had to contend with this season.
"I've never known anything like it in my career. As a whole this season, we've been battling a variety of different injuries but to lose three influential players the way we have, is difficult."
"We'll miss Kane as he was a creative, dangerous outlet for us but with the squad we've got, I know they'll give everything to overcome every hurdle to try and sustain our good form and see where it takes us."
Everyone at the club would like to wish Kane the speediest of recoveries. We look forward to seeing you back in a blue shirt soon, Kane.
