Under 23s Trials A Success

Margate's Champion of Champions Under 23s side held two trials ahead of the 2018/19 campaign, both were a huge success according to new Manager, Paul Robinson.

With over 80 players visiting Hartsdown Park to participate in trials, a group of 30 has now been selected to take part in pre-season.

The excitement for the new season is certainly building, Robinson revealed:

"We had a fantastic response to our trials and saw players from far and wide try out with some good talent on show."

"I'd like to thank all the players who took the time to take part in the trials and I am excited about getting started in July."

Robinson added, "There's a great feel about the whole club ahead of the new season with the senior and youth set up working closer than ever and the ladies team expecting similar success with their trials taking place this week."
