Supporters Club Donation To 12th Man Fund

Margate Football Club would like to thank all supporters who have contributed towards the 12th Man Fund since its introduction.

The Club would like to extend a further thank you to the Official Supporters Club for their donation of £1200 recently towards the fund.

Margate Supporters Club would like to offer a massive THANK YOU to all our members and supporters of Margate Football Club who have made it possible for us to present our new Manager, Andy Drury, with a cheque for £1200 to the 12th Man Fund.

The 12th Man Fund has been established for several seasons now and actively promoted by the Official Supporters Club as it enabled Jay, and now Andy, the opportunity to bring in players who would normally be beyond reach within the set budget.

The 12th Man Fund enables everyone who wishes to help improve our team by either making a one off donation or a monthly donation of £5 plus by direct debit that is ring fenced to go directly to Andy to use for the players he wishes. These donations are over and above the set Player Budget and are not taken into account in deciding the budget.

The Official Supporters Club exists to support our club and support our team, both on and off the pitch. We are a non-profit organisation so surplus profits at the end of the season are distributed to the benefit of the club and the team.

Andy Drury is looking to build his squad and take our team on further this season so we are extremely pleased to be able to make this donation to help him The massive THANK YOU goes to all those that made this possible by joining the Supporters Club or purchasing your 50/50 Ticket or supporting our activities.
