Richards departs HDP for regular first team football following a sequence of injuries which have hampered his tally of minutes so far this season at Hartsdown Park.
Richards joined Margate in 2019, reuniting with Manager Jay Saunders who identified his talent when he was a teenager learning his trade at Maidstone United.
“It’s been a frustrating period for Jack with niggly injuries and it is really important for him that he gets some regular game time and enjoys playing his football.”
“I’ve coached Jack since he was 14 so I know all that he offers and has to offer moving forwards too. I think this will be a good opportunity for him at a good club.”
“With Jack leaving, it makes our light squad even lighter but I’m in conversation with a number of players. We have one deal over the line and another one hopefully by the weekend.”
