Match Preview

On Saturday The Blues host Hornchurch in their next Isthmian League Premier Division match. Margate are back at home and finally back on the pitch after having three away games in a row, two of which were called off.

After losing to Hornchurch in their away game earlier this season, The Blues will undoubtedly be raring to go on Saturday, hoping to get the home win. After not playing since their away game on the 3rd, in which they beat Bowers & Pitsea 4-2, The Blues will be hoping they can continue their win streak.

Hornchurch are currently 8th in the league, just one point ahead of Margate and with one game in hand. A win this weekend is crucial for both sides. Hornchurch will need the points if they are to escape Margate and look higher in the league.

Margate will need all three points to gain the edge over Hornchurch and enable themselves to look up the table. Cheshunt, Kingstonian and Bishops Stortford are all within reach if The Blues can stay consistent.

Kick off at 15:00 at Hartsdown Park, Hartsdown Rd, Margate CT9 5QZ
