MATCH PREVIEW / Bowers & Pitsea (H) - 13th December 2022
It will be the ‘Gate’s first game in 11 days due to Saturday’s fixture away at Potters Bar Town being postponed due to a frozen pitch. A 0-0 draw with Billericay moved the Blues up to 14th, however games since the Blues last fixture mean they are now 16th in the league standings, however they do have up to two games in hand on some of their close rivals.
Manager Andy Drury will be without Taylor Fisher (shoulder) and Ade Cole (suspension) and Troy Howard (Ankle), otherwise Drury will have a full squad to choose from.
This will be the reverse fixture after the two sides met at Bowers in August where the Blues ran out 2-0 winners. This fixture at Hartsdown Park last April saw the ‘Gate bounce back from their Velocity Trophy final defeat to win 3-2.
The visitors arrive having only taken one point from their last four games, however their last win in the League was an impressive 2-1 win over high-flyers Aveley.
Kick-off at Hartsdown Park is 7:45pm, however if you can’t be there then you can stay right up to date on the clubs Twitter @margate_fc from 7:30pm
