Manager Jay Saunders has added Crystal Palace goalkeeper Joe Tupper and former Ilkeston Town FC striker Elliot Reeves to his squad for the rest of the season.
Shot-stopper Tupper has been on the books at Chelsea and played for Reading FC at under 18s level. Tupper has enjoyed some non-league experience before having played for the Metropolitan Police. More recently, Tupper has been on the bench for The Eagles on two occasions, against Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
Meanwhile striker Reeves adds to Saunders’ attacking options. Having re-located to Kent recently, Reeves joins The Gate having scored 36 goals last season and was rewarded for such a prolific campaign with the club’s Player of the Year.
Both players will be available for selection for Saturday’s trip to Horsham YMCA.
Meanwhile, the club can confirm that midfielder Harrison Pont has joined local neighbours Sittingbourne FC to gain first-team experience.
