MATCH PREVIEW / Tonbridge Angels v Margate
Margate make the short journey to the Longmead Stadium tonight to face Tonbridge Angels in the Bostik Premier League looking to extend their unbeaten run to ten games in all competitions.
The Blues are straight back into league action after overcoming a potential banana skin in the shape of Herne Bay in the Emirates FA Cup on Saturday and they know that another three points could see them rise into the top five of the league standings.
Manager Steve Watt has no new injury worries ahead of tonight’s game but is still without Jay May, Alex Flisher, Liam Enver-Marum and potentially Jack Evans as he looks to better the Blues result when they faced each other at Hartsdown Park in August when the two sides drew 0-0.
Tonbridge come into this game on the back of a defeat to Kingstonian which saw them drop to 11th place in the Bostik Premier having taken 14 points from their opening ten games so far.
The Angels are managed by former Margate Midfielder and Caretaker Manager Steve McKimm who continues to impress as the Angels number one after they narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season.
Kick off at The Longmead Stadium is 7:45pm but as always if you can’t be there you can stay right up to date on the clubs official Twitter feed @margate_fc from 7:15pm.
