New General Manager Appointed

Another momentous move forwards was made for Margate Football Club this week, as new General Manager Deny Wilson was appointed to begin work full time at Hartsdown Park. 

After a hugely successful week on the pitch, the club is delighted to announce more progress off of it as well, with Deny's arrival. Building the team behind the scenes is all part of the club's strategy to move Margate FC onto even better things.

With the club's 3G football pitch up and running in the evenings, alongside numerous functions and activities taking place in the bar, Deny's role will see the club enhance its operations with a higher degree of professionalism and fluidity.

Deny has a wealth of experience in running leisure facilities and will be using this expertise to oversee the club on a daily basis.

Speaking on behalf of the Margate board, Chairman Alistair Bayliss said:

"After a fantastic afternoon on Saturday, it's with great pleasure that I was able to welcome Deny to his first day at the club on Monday morning. There is a genuine and infectious buzz around this football club with performances on the pitch propelling us forwards. As a board, we're keen to continue this progress and match it with improvements off the pitch too."

"Deny is going to be an exceptional appointment. Having him at Hartsdown Park on a daily basis shows intent for our plans moving forwards. Deny will bring an experienced eye, plenty of new ideas and ensure we continue to move in the right direction together."
