FA Cup action returns to Hartsdown Park as we play Hayes & Yeading in the First Qualifying Round!

ABOUT THE OPPOSITION:

After finishing 7th and just outside the play-offs in 2022/23, the visitors today suffered a relegation last season from the Southern Premier Division South (step three) into the Isthmian League South-Central. They currently sit 5th in the table, having only played two games compared to the rest of league’s three, but they have won both games, showing that their bad form from last season has not continued into the new campaign. They play in red and black with their away kit being sky blue but they will not need to change into that.

We have met the opposition three times before with us losing the two most recent matches but winning once in 2016 in the National League South. The first of the two losses came in 2016 in the reverse fixture at Hartsdown Park where it ended 1-2 to the visitors. Then in September of 2020, we played in the FA Cup First Qualifying Round and Hayes & Yeading won 1-2 at Hartsdown Park.
