PACE Academy Sessions A Hit
At the start of the season, we successfully launched our Mini Gators Club. Designed for Margate's youngest fans, this exclusive club has helped provide opportunities for young people across Thanet and beyond to visit Hartsdown Park.
With the help of our friends at PACE Academy, we've been able to deliver three hour coaching sessions across primary and secondary schools in the local. Providing young people with the opportunity to get active and learn new skills, the sessions have been a real hit.
Armed with Margate FC goody-bags, the PACE Academy coaches have been going down a storm at recent visits.
"The session went down great, thank you! Our other set of children are excited to have their turn in April.
Thank you again for letting us have this opportunity!”

"The children in Year 1 had an amazing time, learnt new skills and were inspired by the visit. It was great to see everyone enjoying the day. The gifts were a lovely surprise."

General Manager, Deny Wilson is delighted with how well-received the sessions have been and thanked PACE Academy for their support helping the club drive engagement in the local area.
"It's brilliant to recieve feedback like this. The coaches at PACE Academy have done an outstanding job coaching the young players and helping the club reach out and build good relationships in the community. As a result, we've been able to welcome more and more young fans to watch the first team and arrange visits for groups interested in cheering on their local team."
