MATCH PREVIEW / Enfield Town (H) - 24th September 2022
Enfield Town (H) - 24th September 2022
By Josh Cole
Margate welcome Enfield Town to Hartsdown Park on Saturday afternoon looking fir back to back wins in the Isthmian Premier Division for the first time this season.
A 4-0 win over Herne Bay last week saw the Blues move into the top half, however after being in cup action and the game with Carshalton postponed due to the state of funeral, the Blues now sit 14th in the league with two games in hand over some teams in the division.
The Blues are without several players due to injuries with Ade Cole ill, Troy Howard (ankle), Fjord Rogers (back) and Montrell Deslandes (suspended).
Enfield arrive in Kent in similar mixed form having won twice in the last five games, including a 4-0 away at Brightlingsea Regent in their last away game.
The departure of Mo Faal to Havant & Waterlooville in the summer left a hole in their attacking options, however options still include Jake Cass.
Last time these two sides at Hartsdown Park was exactly a year ago this weekend with Margate recording a 2-1 win thanks to a late winner by now Fulham attacker Martial Godo.
Kick-off at Hartsdown Park is 3pm with gates opening at 12:30pm.
