OPPONENTS SEASON SO FAR:
Enfield Town currently sit in 3rd place on 60 points from 34 games. The Town started the form is perfect fashion, winning their first five matches and drawing their next two going seven unbeaten. A loss against Carshalton at home 0-3 put the brakes on their hot start to the season but a win away against Kingstonian followed by a loss against Lewes saw inconsistencies creep in. That was quickly swept under the carpet as Enfield went back to a draw and two wins until they fell to a 2-0 loss to runaway leaders, Hornchurch. Two more wins followed against Canvey and Hastings before a high scoring 4-4 draw against Whitehawk and then a 3-1 loss to Chatham, conceding seven goals in the last two games. Their defence managed to keep us out in the next game as Enfield won 2-0 at the Queen Elizabeth II stadium. The Towners were unable to recapture their form from the start of the season, as another two wins were followed by a loss away at Cray, before beating relegation threatened Haringey, but then lost at home to Folkestone which started a winless run. Two draws and two losses ensured that Enfield Town went five games without a win and desperately needing a win to get their bid for promotion back on track. It came away against Canvey where they ran away 0-3 winners. This win kicked the Town squad into gear, and since that match, they have drawn three games and won three games including their last, a 0-1 away win against Concord Rangers which leaves them in 3rd place before travelling to Thanet.
