Community Sessions Taking Place at HDP
Hartsdown Park is our home but it's yours too. We host a range of sessions each week for members of the local community, so if you or someone you know could do with somewhere safe and fun to play football, please let them know.
Tuesdays | Age UK Thanet | 10-11am
The Club has offered use of the five a side pitches to the charity who will host an hour’s session of walking football to their users in Thanet as a way to reconnect with others.
Users that enjoy their sessions are then encouraged to join our own Walking Football Team, as well as encouraged to attend first team games at Hartsdown Park this season.
The sessions will run between 10am-11am on Tuesday mornings which are free to all with users looking to use this service asked to contact Thanet Age UK on 01843 223881.
Friday | 14-19 year olds | 8:30-10:30pm
These sessions are put on in partnership with Margate Community Trust, KCC’s Reconnect Programme and Breaking the Cycle CIC.
The sessions are open to young people aged between 14-19 years old with the aim of offering young people a safe environment whilst building their resilience through sport.
Sessions are FREE to all and will include free refreshments to help maintain a healthy lifestyle and it all starts this Friday with sessions running weekly between 8:30pm and 10:30pm.
Sunday | 14-19 year old girls | 8:30-10:30pm
These sessions are aimed at giving girls aged between 14-19 years’ old who are looking for a safe environment to play football whilst living a healthy lifestyle.
Participants attending the sessions will receive free fruit and water and all sessions are led by a qualified coach.
And don't forget, for younger players in the area, we have our wonderful Margate Youth FC who run teams and Saturday Soccer Club at HDP.Click here to get in touch.
