Seaden Signs For The Blues
We are delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Harry Seaden from Hornchurch.
22-year old Seaden only joined Hornchurch in the summer after featuring 52 times for Billericay Town last season, however found his game time limited through pre-season.
Before his time at Billericay, where he featured twice against the Blues, keeping a clean sheet in both, Seaden started at Southend United, before loan spells with Cambridge City, Colchester and Great Wakering.
As well as his previous clubs, Seaden can also boast featuring for his Country, having represented England at U16 and U17 level.
Manager Reece Prestedge was delighted to welcome Seaden to Hartsdown Park.
“Harry is a great signing. We spoke this week about signing a new keeper and when Harry came available we wanted to get things sorted as soon as possible.”
Prestedge continued; “Harry is a quality keeper that has a great understanding of this league after playing every league game for Billericay last season.”
Despite the arrival of Seaden, Prestedge paid tribute to Reece Hobbs who had featured for the Blues in their opening two games.
“Reece has been superb. He showed maturity way beyond his years in the opening two games and the whole of pre-season.”
“He knew he was coming in as number two, but having seen him over pre-season and in the opening two games we know that he is more than capable to step in when needed.”
Everyone would like to welcome Harry to Hartsdown Park.
Harry is sponsored by Lukas Jones at Home and Paul Newsome Away.
