Kings Langley v Margate (FA Cup 2nd Qualifying Round)

Margate travel to Hertfordshire tomorrow (Saturday) looking to progress to the 3rd qualifying round of this seasons Emirates FA Cup.

The ‘Gate face Evo-Stik Southern Premier side Kings Langley at Gaywood Park on the back of two wins in a week after despatching of Worthing 5-0 last Saturday before progressing in the Kent Reliance Cup on Tuesday with a 3-1 win away to Herne Bay.

Manager Steve Watt will be without Jordan Chiedozie after he received a red card at Worthing last Saturday meaning he starts a three game ban, whilst Striker Jay May is also missing after featuring for Hythe Town in the preliminary round before signing for the ‘Gate.

Tomorrow’s hosts have struggles to find their form so far in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier as they fell to another defeat on Tuesday night away to Bishops Stortford leaving them currently sat 19th in the division having taken just five points from their opening seven games.

Despite their league troubles, Langley produced an eight star show in the first qualifying round as they smashed Haverhill Borough 8-0 to set up tis clash against the Blues.

Margate will have to wary of striker Gareth Price who has already netted six times this season for Kings Langley, including two already in the FA Cup.

The winners of this tie will earn themselves £4,500 and a place in the 3rd qualifying round of this seasons Emirates FA Cup.
