Match For Monts v SE Dons

We are delighted to update supporters on midfielder Montel Agyemang who is now home after successful surgery on his broken leg, sustained in our 2-1 home defeat to Cheshunt in August.

Whilst the road to recovery has only just begun, the fact that Montel has already had the stitching removed post operation is progress.

We as a Club know how loved Monts is within the squad, the club, and the wider community.

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a charity match at Hartsdown Park at 7:45pm on Tuesday 19th September between a Margate Xl and SE Dons, the popular YouTube team that Agyemang also plays for.

Tickets are available on the turnstiles priced at £5, with all U11’s £3.

All ticket money raised will be donated to Montel in order to support him in his recovery. Also, on the night, Montel’s '2 Eazy' clothing brand will be available to purchase to also show your support to Montel.

The Club have also set up a Go Fund Me page which is for supporters to donate electronically to Montel, with all proceeds being donate to Montel. To access this page, please click here.

Also, we have five spaces in the Margate Xl available for supporters to feature in the game against SE Dons.

These spaces are on a first come first served basis and cost £50, again all money raised will be donated to Montel. Anyone looking to feature in this fixture and take one of the five available spaces should e-mail media@margate-fc.com

All supporters should note that this game will be postponed should our FA Cup fixture on Saturday against Folkestone Invicta end in a draw and a replay is required. All tickets purchased would be valid for a re-arranged date.
