Atkins scored over 100 goals for the Dartford academy, and he joins up with The ‘Gate after his time at the academy came to an end. He featured in Dartford’s last game against Hendon, and he scored.
Fans will remember that towards the end of last season, Louie was dual signed with us from Dartford, and he appeared coming off the bench against Cray Wanderers.
Ben Greenhalgh said: “I’m really looking forward to having Louie as part of our squad, he adds energy and quality and obviously will be looking to get on the scoresheet. He’s someone I’ve coached for a long time and we’re looking forward to helping him progress in this part of his journey. He excelled in the academy system with Dartford, and I know he’ll be a player that might feature for them again down the line but I’m excited to see him now as a Margate player”
