Ufuah Signs For The Gate

Margate Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of winger John Ufuah from Whitstable Town.

The 21-year-old is the first new recruit made by Manager Jay Saunders preparations for the 2020/21 campaign continue.

Having joined the seaside club from Leatherhead, Ufuah enjoyed an impression season making 34 appearances, scoring four goals and contributing to a number of others, making a positive impression and enough to catch Saunders’ eye

Speaking about the signing, Saunders said:

“I’m pleased to welcome John to Margate. He is a young lad with bags of potential and offers us something to different to what we had last year. He’s quick, direct, hard-working and can score goals.”

“John had a great season playing under Lloyd at Whitstable and I’m confident he can continue to improve with us over the next season.”
