Howard: "We Will Stay Focused"

Margate Winger Troy Howard says tonight’s FA Cup game away at Aylesbury United will be tough, but the players will be “focused” to ensure they avoid an early cup exit.
Howard joined the Blues in the summer from Deal Town having previously been part of the Blues Academy, and whilst he admits the jump has been “big”, he believes he will soon find his feet.
“It is a big jump from SCEFL to Isthmian Premier. In the SCEFL it is all fire, fire, fire, but in this league it is a bit more patient and then quickly go for it”.
“We are only five games in and pretty much a new squad, except four from last season and a new Manager who is working hard on getting us playing better”.
Howard acknowledges that Friday night is “huge” for the fans, but says the players will be focused on the task in hand.
“It is a tough game. The FA Cup and the FA Trophy are huge for the supporters and we want to give them something to cheer on Friday night”.
“We will stay focused though and be head strong and play for the supporters and the gaffer as we want to do it for him”.
