MATCH REPORT / Blues Beaten By East Grinstead
?Margate named a strong squad again but were unable to break down a resilient East Grinstead back four and an exceptional performance from the hosts Keeper.
The Blues created a whole host of chances from the off with David Martin, Alex Flisher, Frannie Collin and new signing Liam Enver-Marum all being denied by the hosts.
East Grinstead took the lead in the 29th minute as a ball to the back post was nodded home to give the hosts the lead very much against the run of play.
Despite making changes in the second half Margate continued to create chances with Collin and Sidney Sollis seeing great opportunities go to waste.
Margate complete their pre-season campaign tomorrow evening as they face Ramsgate in the WW Martin Thanet Cup at Southwood.
