Sollis Re-Joins The Gate
Margate FC are delighted to announce promising young striker Sid Sollis has re-joined the club.
The 19-year-old will be known to fans already, after a number of appearances for the club last season. Following a move to East Grinstead over the summer, Sollis returns for a second spell.
Joint Manager, Mike Sandmann, was pleased to add Sollis to his attacking arsenal ahead of this Saturday’s Bostik League clash against Lewes FC at Hartsdown Park.
“We are delighted to have Sid return to Margate FC. Sid is a player we never wanted to leave in the first place.”
“We want to keep our young, talented players at the football club but could understand Sid’s frustration about last season and he just wanted to play matches despite assurances made by ourselves.”
Sandmann added, “Sid is a young player wanting to improve and I am pleased to have him back with us. He will bring another attacking threat into our squad in an area that we have identified as one we need to improve upon.”
