Gate Goody Bags To Celebrate 125th Birthday

This season, Margate FC celebrate our 125th birthday!

Not only will we have supporters back at Hartsdown Park but we have also planned lots of different things to acknowledge this significant landmark.

From events to memorabilia collections, there is a lot of hard work going on to make sure 2021/22 is a season to remember for us all; from our players to our volunteers, our supporters to our local community.

On the subject of our local community, we are delighted to announce a celebratory giveaway with our friends at O’Neills to help people enjoy a summer of football in Margate.

O’Neills manufacture our fantastic playing and training kits. We’ve now teamed up for a 125th Anniversary giveaway. We have TEN Gate Goody Bags to giveaway for free to help clubs, teams and groups of mates get together and play.

Each Gate Goody Bag contains the following:

• Five footballs

• Speed ladder

• Four Speed hurdles

• Hard cones

• Flexi markers

With a retail value of over £100, applications are now open to win a Gate Goody Bag. All you need to do is email secretary@margate-fc.comwith the following details:

1) Your name

2) Your team, club or group name

3) Information around the area of Kent you play in

4) Your email address

5) No more than 250 words explaining why you deserve to win a Gate Goody Bag

Please note, applications must be from those who live and play in Kent.

All applications need to be sent by 9am on Saturday 10th July our first home game of pre-season which you can come to watch for free by pre-registering here.

A panel including our Club Chairman, Vice- Chairman, First Team Manager and Club Captain will then pick the lucky winners, each of whom will be invited to Hartsdown Park to receive their Gate Goody Bag before our 2021/22 campaign starts on Saturday 14th August.
